Career Technical Director’s Message

Welcome to Career-Technical Education at Kent Theodore Roosevelt High School!

Thank you for visiting our CTE Department webpage. Whether you are a current student, prospective student, parent, community partner, or employer, we are excited to share the opportunities available through our programs.

At Roosevelt High School, Career-Technical Education provides students with hands-on learning experiences that connect classroom instruction to real-world careers. Through industry-focused coursework, leadership opportunities, work-based learning, and industry-recognized credentials, students gain the skills and experiences needed for success after high school.

As a member of the Six District Educational Compact, Roosevelt proudly hosts a variety of CTE programs that serve students from across our partner districts. Our dedicated instructors combine industry expertise with a passion for teaching, helping students explore career pathways, discover their strengths, and prepare for future success.

Most importantly, we want every student to feel welcome and valued. Whether Roosevelt is your home school or you travel here from another Compact district, you are an important part of our CTE family. We are committed to creating an environment where all students feel they belong and feel at home.

We invite you to explore our programs and learn more about the outstanding opportunities available to our students. If you have any questions, please contact the CTE Office at 330-676-8740. We look forward to supporting you on your educational journey.

Sincerely,

Carrie Harris
